The Ministry
of Mines in India has launched the SATYABHAMA portal "For Mining
Advancement" with the objective of promoting research and development in
the mining and minerals sector.
The Union
Minister launched the R&D portal "SATYABHAMA". Union
Minister of Coal, Mines, and Parliamentary Affairs, Prahlad Joshi has launched
the R&D portal "Science and Technology Yojana for Aatmanirbhar Bharat
in Mining Advancement (SATYABHAMA)".

The portal
has been launched for the Science and Technology Program Scheme of the Ministry
of Mines. The newly launched portal will increase efficiency in the
implementation of the scheme and will also allow online submission of projects
and online submission of project proposals with the use of funds/grants.
The R&D
portal SATYABHAMA has been designed, developed and implemented by the National
Informatics Center (NIC), Mines Information Division.
It is
integrated with NITI Aayog's NGO Darpan portal. It also accepts researchers'
progress reports and final technical reports of projects in electronic format.
